Deep River Waterpark "Skating on the Plaza" Employment Opportunities

Deep River Waterpark is particularly interested in hiring personable and energetic individuals. All employees are required to successfully complete American Red Cross CPR and First Aid Training Courses as well as all Deep River Waterpark training classes. Employees who remain in good standing with their work performance during the winter season will be given the opportunity to continue their employment during the summer waterpark season.

Employees should expect to be scheduled nights, weekends, and holidays.
Skating on the Plaza operates from November 27th, 2015 through February 28th, 2016 with the following schedule:
Thursdays 2pm-9pm
Fridays 2pm-10pm
Saturdays 12pm-10pm
Sundays 12pm-9pm
However, during the December holiday period, skating is open every day starting at noon. Private ice time is also available Monday through Wednesday or whenever the rink is not open to the public. For more information regarding the operation schedule, please visit our web site.
All applicants should expect to work both indoors and outdoors with constantly changing weather conditions.

Skate Guard

Skate guards are entrusted with the responsibility of insuring the safe operation of Deep River Waterpark’s ice plaza. Skate guards main responsibilities include enforcing the rules and promoting a safe experience for the patrons. Skate guard applicants will be required to successfully complete American Red Cross CPR and First Aid courses. Applicants must have strong ice skating skills and be able to skate for extended periods of time in an outdoor environment. All skate guard applicants will also be given the opportunity to cross train and work in other areas of the ice plaza operation.

Ice Plaza Attendant

Team members hired into this position will be trained in several areas of our ice rink operation. Responsibilities will include cashiering, skate rental, and general cleaning duties throughout the facility. Applicants must be willing to work in any of these positions. All applicants will be required to successfully complete American Red Cross CPR and First Aid courses.

Food and Beverage Team

Food and beverage team members will have the responsibility of preparing, cooking, and serving several food and beverage options to our customers. Duties will also include cashiering and general cleaning. Applicants will be required to attend all training classes and the ability to cross train in other areas will also be offered.
