Deep River Waterpark Team Opportunities Food service team A major part of the Deep River Waterpark experience is fast, quality food service. The food service team is one of our largest and important departments. Duties include the preparation and serving a wide variety of culinary delights to our many guests. This team also hosts numerous catered events to area corporations and organizations. Food service staff must successfully complete the Deep River Waterpark sanitation and food service classes. Water Safety team The Water Safety team's responsibility is to insure the safe operation of Deep River Waterpark's rides and attractions. All lifeguard applicants must complete the National Aquatic and Safety Co. lifeguard training course conducted by Deep River Waterpark. Applicants must meet the following prerequisites: be at least 16 years old, able to swim 200 yards using crawl or breast stroke and be able to recover a 10 lb. Brick from a depth of 8 feet and tread water holding the brick for two minutes. Maintenance team Team members are responsible for maintaining Deep River Waterpark's trademark appearance and cleanliness. Maintenance staff are responsible for the overall cleanliness of the pools, landscaping, buildings, bathrooms and attractions. Maintenance staff are required to successfully complete the Deep River Waterpark maintenance training program. Guest Services team Team members work at the front gate greeting guests, taking tickets and answering customer questions. Guest services staff help conduct programs and events for group outings. Team members are required to successfully complete the Deep River Waterpark guest relations program. Merchandise team Team members work in the U.S. 30 Surf Shop, rental locations and at Water Wars. All merchandise personnel must successfully complete the Deep River Waterpark cashier training classes and are required to maintain established performance levels. Admissions team Admission clerks are some of the first staff that guests meet. Personable, friendly, customer service oriented people are a must for these positions. All cashiers must successfully complete the Deep River Waterpark cashier training classes and are required to maintain established performance levels. General info All staff are required to successfully complete Deep River Waterpark customer service classes. Each department has standards of professionalism that are required to be maintained. Deep River Waterpark is particularly interested in hiring personable and energetic individuals.
