WELCOME!
Thanks to refrigeration under the Ice Plaza, this winter you'll be able to skate Deep River Waterpark starting Friday November 24 - through Sunday January 28, 2024...weather permitting of course.
After that date Mayor Byrdovich will cease allowing ice skating on his plaza and give orders to start getting ready to open the waterpark on May 24, 2024...for another totally SPLASHtastic season!
Open Skating Hours of operation:
November 24, 2023- January 28, 2024
Thursdays: 4pm - 8pm
Fridays: 4pm - 8pm
Saturdays: Noon - 8pm
Sundays and Holiday periods: Noon - 8pm
Closed Monday - Wednesday,
except during Holiday/School break periods and private rentals
Closed Christmas Eve Day/Eve & Christmas Day
What will be open?
14,500 square foot ice plaza, food & beverage locations, heated indoor bathrooms,
Birthday Party room, U.S. 30 Surf Shop, Group Sales & Season Pass offices. Plus,
Plaza will be decorated with festive seasonal lighting.
Some more rules...
Food, beverage and coolers are not allowed in the park. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted anywhere on Park Department property.
Hockey games and hockey sticks are not permitted.

Skate Sharpening
Skate sharpening is available at certain times, depending on staff.
Please call ahead to find out availability 219-947-7850.
The cost is $10.00 per pair.

We have 12 Skate Helpers that are available for rent, for $5.
Skate Rentals
Rental Skates are available from sizes 9J to 14 for hockey style...9J to 9 for figure skates.

(2)- Passholder rates are valid for 2023 Deep River waterpark season passholders until 12/31/23...and for 2024 season passholders 1/1/24-1/28/24.
Discount Group Rates
As you can see in the above rate chart we offer reduced prices to groups of
10 or more with advance reservation.
This FUN family friendly outing is the perfect affordable winter outing for schools, organizations, church youth outings, boy & girl scouts, indian guides, 4H, family company outings and team building, you get the idea.

Birthday party package is available for groups of 10 or more with reservations and deposit at least 7 days in advance. Rates apply to each member of the party, that is skating (10 minimum) + Chaperones if you want to have food/beverage and skate. Two tables will be reserved for your party, for 1 hour.
Party Package includes...Pizza, soda or hot chocolate and two private party tables for one hour, based on availability!
Tip...Plan to arrive a minimum of 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours before your private table time so, the kids can have a chance to skate & the food is ready for you on time.
Deposit... Is for the minimum of 10 people. If you end up with more than 10, the extra amount due must be paid at least 7 days in advance of your party.

Private Rink Rentals are GREAT for schools, FUNdraising
events, youth groups, team bulding, parties, the list never ends!

Thurs. & Fri.: 9am-3:30pm
Sat./Sun./Holidays: 9am-11:30am
$400.00 for 2 hours, for up to 50 people.
Additional hours if available are $150 per hour.
After 50 people $8.00 per person...200 maximum people.
Includes complimentary skate rental and use of all 12 Skate Helpers, if needed.
Deposit Policy: $400.00 required with reservation, remainder due at time of outing unless billing arrangements have been made.
